[00:00:00] Welcome to the Phoenix Business Brief Podcast. I'm Brian Hyde, and today I'm joined by Matt Roeske. Matt is one of the, uh, founders of Cultivate, elevate. And Matt, I'm very ha, happy to have you on the program. Before we talk about your business, take a moment, give us a little bit about your background, about who you are and what you do.
So I've been in the health industry for a really long period of time. I was in the fitness, pe uh, the fitness industry back during, when I was in my twenties. I was doing personal training. I was helping people get healthy. And then as I transitioned from the fitness industry, we started up cultivate, elevate in 2020, and I moved into superfood supplements and healing the body in the natural ways.
And because it all goes hand in hand. You know, you need activity and then you also need to bring in the right things to your body so that your body can heal. So through my adventures, I would say in the last, I would say 15 years, it was understanding that our system does not talk about what we're putting into our body.
And I had an [00:01:00] experience when I was 25 where I went to a professional and he told me that, uh, everything I was going through was I was getting older and it was my genetics. And I thought, well, I'm only 25 years old. That doesn't make any sense. You know that it's, you're telling me it's just 'cause I'm getting older.
I've only been here for 25 years, so wasn't that long of a time. So I realized at that given time that the professionals that I was talking to, I felt like I was being lied to. And I'm sure many people feel this on a regular basis where they go to a professional and they just feel like, you know, they're, they're kind of blowing them smoke.
And so I started understanding that I could heal myself naturally. I could heal myself with my food, with my water, you know, with exercise and getting rid of the things that are causing the toxicity to my body. And that's pretty much the foundation of Cultivate, elevate. I try to find a solution for everything so that people do not live in fear.
And I realize that we're self regenerating divine beings. And once we begin to heal our body, then we [00:02:00] begin to regenerate. And I realized that we don't have to partake in this system, which is just trying to make money off of us and profit off of us while we're being sick. And that's the part I just don't agree with, because it doesn't make sense to constantly be poisoned and then never have a solution and then just keep coming back as a patient for life.
You know, I want people to be healthy and that's pretty much what Cultivate elevate's all about. You know, I have to ask you this, Matt, 'cause um, when you talk about, you know, the, it's the things that we take in, whether it's our, our food, our water, um, you know, combined with exercise, but. It sounds so simple.
Do you run into people who say that it's too easy, it's gotta be more complicated than that? Do they, do they find a reason not to believe? Because what you're telling them is so basic. Well, that's how our mind has been programmed. You know, we've been given the, I don't know, 10,000 different diseases when in reality it's just toxicity or heavy metals or, you know, you're just not eating correctly.
But yeah, I mean, that's the thing is they, the system has caused lots of confusion in the mind for people to overthink things, [00:03:00] you know? And I just talk about how people should clean up their water, you know, clean up their food. Spend time in nature and then get rid of wireless technology. I mean, it's pretty much a very simple thing.
And when you break it all down to this, you go, wow, you know, that is really simple and it's made to be complicated so that you stay in an, in a state of confusion once you're in that state of confusion. You just o you obey the person who is, you know, the professional who you're talking to. And yeah, I've realized that they've complicated this for a reason, because it's very easy to give you, you know, 10,000 different names.
And then you tell somebody like myself that you have this disease or this illness or that. But in reality, you're just poisoning yourself daily. And once you eliminate the poison, you just heal, you know? And a perfect example so people can understand this is the Amish. The Amish are healthy as can be without any illnesses, and they're just doing things in a simple fashion.
So, you know, that's why I like to stick to that way. So let's, uh, [00:04:00] let's talk about some of the most common mistakes that, that we make in, in terms of how we feed ourselves and what we can do to, to take a different approach. So when it comes to bringing in food into your body, you wanna know the source.
That's number one. You should know your farmer. There's a beautiful farmer, ammo miller's. They're an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania, and you can actually have their food shipped to you. They ship all over the country. The government attempted to raid them, which is a big red flag because anytime they go after the healthy food, you should kind of ask why.
But there are great souls. But the food that you're bringing in is one of the most important things because you're eating two to three times a day. So, you know, whatever's coming into your body, one as organic, as pure as possible. Heavy metal free, pesticide free, filler free. You know, you just, you want it down to think of one ingredient.
I mean, that's, that's usually how I tell people, you should be able to say the food that you're putting into the body. It shouldn't have hidden ingredients. You should be able to cook from scratch, and you should know what's coming into your system. I've been doing [00:05:00] now, for the last 15 months, I've been doing raw meat, raw milk, uh, raw nuts, raw vegetables, and raw fruits.
That's pretty much it. So that's been the last 15 months. And if you think about that, those are the most simplest foods because it's only five ingredients and five things. And so anything that gets mixed and match, I will bring that into my body. Raw vegetables as well too. But the, the simpler you break it down, the easier it is to understand because then you can figure out what is the problem that might be causing you an issue.
For example, let's say every time you eat bread, you get congested, you get tired, you get lethargic, you get a headache. Well, once you eliminate that, you can see that maybe that bread was sprayed with pesticides, which is causing all of those issues. So maybe you should search for, or organic, you know, an organic wheat that has not been sprayed.
And there are those brands out there, but it's really just an elimination thing and trying to figure out what works best with your body. But as [00:06:00] long as everything is as pure as possible. Our food is tainted. People don't realize them. You know, most of the grocery stores, they spray stuff and all do all kinds of things.
So bringing in the most pure things is the easiest way. And then once you kind of pick through things, you go, wow, okay, this is what I should do and this is what I shouldn't do. And you can just tell, 'cause your body will give you a signal. And that's the other thing, instead of going to a person to get, you know, an answer to something.
Just go with what your body tells you. 'cause your body will just tell you if something is wrong and right after you eat it, you know, it's the most easiest thing. You start sneezing and you're like, oh man, maybe I ate something weird. You know? Okay. Let's, let's talk about, uh, water. You had mentioned that before too.
And, um, look, I hate to admit this, but, uh, I get bored with water. I feel like, oh, I gotta have something that has some kind of flavor. Maybe it's even just drop-ins, you know, a couple drops of flavor. Talk to me about, uh, what we really need and, and why do we sometimes avoid it. So when you get into your water, I mean the purest water [00:07:00] that you can get is out of the earth.
You can get into the primary water institute.org. You can drill yourself a primary water well so you can get the purest water that comes out of the earth. We were told the myth that we're going to run out of water, but that's also just so they can sell you, you know, something down the road or control you down the road.
But the Primary Water Institute showed that we have unlimited water underneath our feet. And this is the most powerful healing water that we can bring into our body. Now, our tap water has been recycled many times, has pesticides and different types of pills and pharmaceuticals and all kinds of chemicals inside of it.
And then that that water keeps coming into your pipes. So the best thing a person can do is get off the public water system and move towards a well so that they can get pure water that has not been tainted. And is not filled with these chemicals. And you know, you get into, for example, here in Arizona, you know, they're talking about recycling the water, putting sewage in it, all, all kinds of weird stuff.
And there's a great website. It's uh, ewg.org. It's a water database, [00:08:00] and you can search up your zip code and you can find out what's actually in your water. And this blew my mind because when I was in North Scottsdale, I typed in what was in there and they show like all the chemicals. You know, so you want to have some sort of filtration system to try to filter these things, but you can know what to filter.
You know, that's what's nice about that website. But the best option, get in your pure water. Bring in your pure water. This is a copper cup right here. Bringing in your pure water, the best water you can put into your body, because your body is about 80%, you know, a water gel state. So if you think about it, what's going into your body, especially what you're drinking, should be pure, you know, you get into these bottled waters and they have chemicals and plastics and toxins and things in there, and we wanna stick to something that is the most natural.
So if a person does have a home. They can get themselves a mega home distiller and they can distill the water that will pretty much almost peer pull just about everything out of it. But like I said, you are [00:09:00] primarily water. So if you don't bring high quality water in you, you know, then the toxins are gonna send the body and then they're gonna seep out of the body and then the body is gonna get fatigued and tired over time.
This is why a lot of people develop arthritis. Because there's lots of fluoride in the water and that fluoride, what it does is it crystallizes the bones and then that's why everything starts to ache. So at about 65, a person de develops fluorosis, which is the over uh, toxicity of fluoride. And this was from the book Toxic Torts with Gary Pittman.
He went into talking about how toxic fluoride actually is. So, you know, this is the thing. Think of just if you were out in nature. And you were collecting water, how would you find it? You would have a spring, most likely. So same thing with your, well, you're tapping into those springs and that's the most basic way.
So that's why I like to keep it that way. Okay. I gotta follow up with the, you know, you held up the copper cup for me to see there. Um, oh yeah. Why [00:10:00] does it matter what we drink it out of? I mean, I, uh, you had mentioned plastics and, and I stay clear of water bottles for that reason. I don't want the microplastics.
Um, what do you recommend people have if they, if they wanna drink pure water? Does it matter what we're drinking it out of? So you'd wanna stick to the most natural materials you can get into copper, because copper is what everybody used to drink out of. They have copper pipes most likely in their house still.
So they're still drinking out of copper. You could get into glassware, you know that's another beautiful one. I say CB two is a great place to check out 'cause they got so many glassware and different things. You can get clay. Clay glassware is nice as well too. And if you want to look into another really fun one, and it's uranium glass, which is depression glass, and that was from the 1920s.
And everything that you drink out of has a resonance or a frequency. So this is also a nutrient when you think about it. So any type of glassware that you're consuming out is also working as a nutrient that's going into your body. Now, if we flip it and you put your, [00:11:00] your water in plastic. Well then now you're bringing in plastics, which are crystallizing the body, and then also creating all these heavy metals in the body and then just clogging up the body.
So you know, anything plastic, anything synthetic, you wanna stay away and just stick to the most natural things. Think of back in the, in the day, people used to eat with silverware. And it contains silver. So there's a property there that the person is getting the electrical property. So same thing with copper.
There's an electrical property right there. So we are electrical beings. When you think about it, our hearts beat. We get, you know, they zap you back to life. So when you think about what you're consuming or what you're drinking out of, same exact principle applies. And you had mentioned earlier too, the need to get away from electronic devices.
I'm really intrigued about this one 'cause it, it makes more sense to me all the time. What's the purpose behind, you know, breaking free of the electronics? So this is a big one. You know, you get into the wireless [00:12:00] frequencies, the wifi, the Bluetooth, the 5G. You know, the 5G was the main culprit of the pandemic.
When you get into this, you saw these cell phones towers rolling out, and you saw people's phones getting upgraded anytime they've upgraded technology. It always results in a pandemic, and this is from the book, the Invisible Rainbow, which I highly recommend by Arthur Stenberg. There's also the book Zapped, which is another great one, and there's also the book, dirty Electricity by Dr.
Milham. Those three books cover just about everything, but what they noticed was, was when people were surrounded by electricity, by wifi, by all of this synthetic technology, we will say. They started developing dizziness, loss of hair, um, brain fog, you know, nausea, memory loss, ringing of the ears, and all of these things kept continuing.
When people would spend more time in nature, they would notice that all of those symptoms would go away. So this is quite a rabbit hole because. When you think about, when you go to the professional, they will ask you about your food and then they'll give [00:13:00] you a pill, you know, and whatever. So they don't really do anything, but they never ask you about the technology in which you are using.
And when you get into all this wireless technology, the EMFs, the electricity, the dirty electricity, all of these things, that's one thing that's just never really talked about. So if a person's suffering and having health issues and they've cleaned up their diet, they've cleaned up their water. You know, they've cleaned up their clothes and their house and their lights and everything else, and switched back to Incandescence and things like that.
The other culprit you have to look into is the wireless, because that is one that you cannot see. And the thing is, so people are fully aware of this, the testing that takes place for this technology is on a plastic dummy. And the reason for that is because when they were doing the original tests with Motorola on humans, the trials were absolutely frightening.
And we see this, you know, increase in disease over the last, you know, 50 to 60 years and they're like, we can't figure it out. Well, you start to look at [00:14:00] how electricity, wireless, and all of this technology has increased over the last 50 to 60 years. And in the book with, uh, Dr. Milham, he was showing, this was the craziest thing.
He would go out into rural America where they had no electricity and they had really no illness. And then when they started to introduce electricity into rural America, all of these diseases started to skyrocket. Now, the biggest factor right there was the, the nutrition or the food did not change. So this, this is where it gets crazy.
So they're still eating what they originally ate. The only differences, the electricity and the Amish belief, which is interesting that electricity is the devil. So you get into this whole thing and you see that they're onto something. And so, you know, the best thing people can do is they can, they can get rid of wifi, they can hardwire their house.
Like my, my house is hardwired. I have an ethernet cord right here with an adapter where my internet is plugged in. My wifi is off, [00:15:00] my guest wifi is off. If you have a smart meter, you can switch it to an analog meter, 'cause that's another culprit as well too. And then any wireless devices, you just wanna switch them to wired.
That's, that's the easiest way. And then for your electric, you can go through your house and make sure things are grounded because sometimes you have things that are not grounded and you know, that can cause a fire too. But those are just simple steps. And the last one you can do is LEDs to incandescence.
Because LEDs is another toxic, dirty electricity. Plus you have a synthetic, uh, color spectrum, which leads to headaches and everything else. So you look at this and you see that our houses are getting set up to poison us rather than before, where it was really just for healing. So this is just little things to look into, and like I said.
Baby steps because this seems like a lot at once, but just one step at a time. Okay. Matt, one final question for you, and this is, this one actually intrigued me from the very beginning of our conversation you mentioned [00:16:00] we also need to get outside more. Talk to me about, uh, about what that does for us to get out into nature.
That's probably the most important thing. You know, I spend so much time outdoors. I watch the chipmunks and the hummingbirds and the bees. You know, we got thousands of bees right now because all the Palo Verdes are just blooming like crazy. So I've got, I don't know how many thousands and millions of bees and I just sit there and watch them, you know?
And it's interesting because the bees that are here right now have yellow eyes, and the Palo Verdes have yellow flowers. So the connection between nature and the trees is just remarkable. And spending time in nature just helps your cells relax. It helps your heart relax. It helps your brain relax. You know, we're constantly being fed a stress state.
You know, if you really think about it, I mean there's constant stressors which are messing with us, and it's mostly social media half the time. 'cause it's always usually chaos instead of giving people solutions. So, you know, when you think about that, when you're seeing [00:17:00] that all the time, that causes stress on yourselves.
But if right now me and you went and sat outside. And just, you know, touch this Palo Verde or sat and watched that Palo Verde, we'd be calm, we'd be relaxed, and we would notice that there's no chaos. And that's the thing I think that's so important from this. When you spend in time in nature, you notice that the things on social media are not happening.
But when you are in it. You are hooked, you know, almost like a, like a fish hook, you know, into you and whatever else. So spending time in nature I think is one of the most important things. And then there was a book, it was, uh, light as Medicine by Jacob Liberman, and he talked about UV spectrums were very beneficial.
And he was an eye doctor, which was funny. And he showed the government that UV spectrums were actually very beneficial and they attacked him. So, you know, anytime you're told one thing, they usually flip and invert it. But spending time in nature is probably one of the best things you can do. And it's free.
It does not cost you a dollar, you know, to just sit outside on the sun and connect yourself or go [00:18:00] down to a river or go to the mountains or, or you know, go up to Prescott or Prescott, you know, any of those things. And that's, I think, one of the most important things because there was a story in there where there was a lady with a terminal illness.
And I think this was in Dr. John Health and Light, but she had a terminal, terminal illness and the professional told her to go sit outside 'cause she only had six months left. So the husband gets her all set up, puts her outside, and she just sits there and reads books for six months. She goes back to the professional, the professional said, what were you doing?
And she goes, well you told me to sit outside. She goes like, I only got six months. They go, well, your terminal illness is gone. Wow. And so that is the remarkable part of nature that will never be televised because there is no profit in that. And so that's why I wanted to share that story. Healing should be, you know, you eat foods to address the meridian line. This is why people eat carrots. They look like your eyes, you know? Or you eat certain foods that look like certain organs. Walnuts look like your brain, so you eat walnuts, you know, so. When it comes to different superfoods, I started studying different superfoods to address different things and then we can heal things.
And the coolest one out of all of 'em was the pearl powder. Which was regenerating people's eyesight. And this one blew me away because I realized that we have been told the lie that our eyes cannot regenerate. But I have learned that is quite the opposite. And so that's pretty, the pretty much been the journey of Cultivate Elevated started in 2020 during the Nonsense Pandemic and has grown ever since.
